Job description

Meeco London is looking for a bright, energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a love for creating and distributing media content.

As a member of the Marketing and Sales team at Meeco, the Social Media Marketer will be responsible for managing Meeco Social Media Accounts, from Twitter to Facebook and Myspace Accounts, you will also be responsible for implementing campaigns using different communication/ marketing patterns. The role includes intensive training so an ability to learn quickly is essential. An opportunity to gain an Accredited Level 1-2 Arts Awards is also available and can be achieved on the job.


Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities

  • Using content management systems to maintain and update our websites, social platforms, applications and internal databases.

  • Liaising with staff and with external contactors.

  • Data entry.

  • Create, develop and format various digital media for distribution online.

  • Explore Mobile Marketing opportunities.

  • Develop and use E-marketing solutions to market newsletters to Meeco Creative Candidates and Potential Clients.

  • Maximise online attraction to the industry.

  • Identify Suitable Candidates for Meeco Services (Both potential clients and hot Meeco Creatives prospects.)


Key Skills Required

You'll need to be a people's person as your role involves working with staff throughout the organization. You will do most of your training on the job, learning from more experienced colleagues.

You'll also need to be super efficient to make sure you can balance your own workload with all those extra little requests that will come in from time to time.

Experience Required

  • A basic understanding of Digital Media and Advertising.

  • Proficient with Mac and Windows Systems.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Applications and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience in Social Media Marketing, including blogging, discussion forums, PRand Article Marketing.

  • Strong understanding of web design, applications, navigation, web 2.0.

  • Deep passion for social media is a must.
